By using this scheme Indian government wants to collect the data of unorganized sector workers. With the help of which the central government will implement other beneficial schemes for the workers and also provide them benefits through direct benefit transfer.

Documents required for e Shram card
You need the following documents for online registration of e labor card.
- Aadhar Card
- Mobile number, Aadhaar linked.
- Bank Account Details.
- The age of the sharmik (majdoor) is not less than 16 years and not more than 59 years
e shram card online apply – complete registration process
Step 1: Visit the official e-Shram portal or click here eshram.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the option “Register on e-Shram” and you will be redirected to the “Self Registration” page.
Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar linked mobile number.
Step 4: Enter the Captcha code and other details.
Step 5: Click on the “Send OTP” button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Step 6: Verify OTP and accept the information displayed on the screen.
Step 7: Now on the next page, enter the details like home address, educational qualification etc.
Step 8: Enter the name of the skill, nature of occupation and select your job type.
Step 9: Enter bank details like account holder name, account number etc.
Step 10: Verify the details you have just entered.
Step 11: Again an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, Verify OTP.
Step 12: Once you verify the OTP, your e shram card (Shramik card) will appear on the screen and you can download it.
