The film stars Rajinikanth, Khushbu, Meena, Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh. While Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Soori are in lead roles. The film opened well worldwide with a total box office collection of Rs 240 crore. Although the budget of the film was around 180 crores.

Movie Story: Rajinikanth’s character in the film is Kaaliya whose life revolves around his sisters. He wants his sisters to get married in a nearby village, but many relationships are turned down as people feel that Kalyan’s excessive love for his sister may affect their married life. Then Kalyan’s enemy (Prakash Raj) brings up his brother’s relationship with his sister. But he disappears before the wedding, after which the story takes a new turn.

Rajinikanth looks dashing in the film, his dialogue action looks similar to his previous films. But there is not much power in the story and after watching the film it seems that everything is already known. However, after the second half the film becomes very long. Also the interest in the story starts decreasing.

There is not much interest in the story of the film. If you do not like over melodrama then you will not enjoy the film. If you are a fan of Rajinikanth then you can watch it.
